Thanks for your cordial endeavour that you have tried to give us all public universities information. But most of the universities' web we can not access. Jagannath University is a public University of Bangladesh situated in Dhaka near the Buri Ganga. Beside the Jagannath University Victoria Park and Ahsan Monzil are the historical place.

According to the Ministry of Education there are 82 universities in Bangladesh - 26 public universities and 56 private universities.

Engineers institution also operate a Degree engineering coarse which named AMIE(Associate Membership examination of institution of Engineers Bangladesh) in various branch of engineering,likely-Civil, Mechanical,Electrical & chemical Engineering.

There are two ways to get admission in AMIE, 1. After completing H.S.C exam in science. 2. By completing 3rd year Examination from any Polytechnic Institute.

chagol. 100% chagol. I think NSU, the best (so called) private university is worse than the worst public university of the country. I cannot recognize the private universities as higher academy. At best these can be recognized as big coaching centers.

Now it is not important to read AMIE. There are many many Private Universities in Bangladesh, Where you can start your education for B.sc in Engg, you can get exemption on some subjects, you may also read in DUET(Public University) at Gazipur.Practically now a days recruiting company does not favor AMIE qualified degree holders.Once upon a time there was shortage of Degree Engineers as well as Engineering Institutions and so recruiting authorities mainly in Govt. sector(Railway,Power Development Board, PWD,Port etc) AMIE holders were allowed to submit their application for the job but at now due to much availability of Degree Engineers it is not require AMIE Holders. After this if you still read this type of Engineering you may communicate with local Institutins of Engineer's (Dhaka,Chittagong)

Do not study EEE anywhere without the accreditation from IEB/BAETE (recently formed jointly by IEB & UGC)...otherwise it'll be wast of time, effort & money....

(For any bangladeshi university) b)IEB recognizes degrees from BUET/DUET/CUET/KUET/RUET & from AUST..(somehow AUST has managed it through BUET...but it is conditional...) c)BUT .. getting BAETE accreditation is not that much complicated for PRIVET UNIVERSITIES....If any engineering program of any privet university get BAETE accreditation..the graduates of that program of that concerned privet university shall get IEB associate membership leading to full membership, fellowship..etc. ----TAKE CARE. |

hi bro..i want to study telecommunication(ETE/ECE )..i want to join NSU or else BRAC..which university will be good for me..Recently i heard that NSU does not have IEB accreditation but BRAC have IEB accreditation...On the other hand although nsu does not have the ieb accreditation but it is recognised by many universities abroad and has permission from UGC...So which university do u think will be good for Telecommunication(ETE/ECE )...

First YOU have to appear at the admission test..after passing YOU have to provide all YOUR undergraduate credentials after the EQUIVALENCE COMMITTEE, BUET to examine YOUR EQUIVALENCY which is a MUST for getting enrolled @ BUET's each & every PG programs... BUT be aware there's huge difference between B.Sc. ( Hons.)/B.Sc./B.S. in CSE & B.Sc. Engg. (CSE)..the first one is ACADEMIC & the other is a RECOGNIZED PROFESSIONAL degree... |
