I am from IBAIS University. After getting GPA 5 in HSC i do not waste my time for getting admission in Dhaka University. I choose this university only for their unique "BA in Tourism & Hotel Management" course. Soon i will finish my part here and wish to work in any 5 star hotel in Bd and at the same time do MBA in any top private university.

Private university provides Hundreds time greater facility to students as because they charge huge and to remain in the competition they need to provide best possible service.

In terms of teaching, they solve this problem by recruiting BEST teachers from Public+Private+Outside county. So here they again one step ahead.

But in terms of student, i believe apart from 10 Best private universities 90% Students of the rest of those universes are no way near to compete with any private University student. I am sorry to say that most of them may not write 10 simple English sentence correctly.

But there is another point too. In terms of showing yourself in job Erina, i feel private university students are 100 Times more smart then public uni students. Many Public uni students are very very talented but does not know even how to talk how to behave how to deal with other etc

Anyway, It is not wise decision to think public uni are best and need to be best for rest of the time. If you spend money than you will get better service which happens in terms of private university.

Give them 10 to 20 years. We the students of Private Uni will rock Bangladesh...

If we consider about key successfull factors amoung the NSU, IUB, AIUB, EWU and Brac universities then we will find that IUB is the best.
IUB's BBA is so far interms of quality faculty, course content, class and campus env, journals, achievments and etc.

But student's words of mouth is very poor of IUB. Because they are now providing the highest tution fees and semester fees even than NSU and they are getting lower grade compare to the other private universities. Till last semester avg CGPA of IUB student was 2.46. One the other hand IUB doesn't provide any promotional act, so many of us does't know about IUB.

IUB's ENV and CMN department are also better than any pvt universities.

If u don't agree me just visit websites of NSU,IUB,AIUB,EWU and Brac and do a little research proposal on it .

1. NSU ( BBA ---- excellent, Engineering ---- decent)
2. AIUB( EEE ---- excellent, BBA ---- very good, Arch. ---- decent)
3. EWU ( BBA -- very good, Engineering ---- decent)
4. IUB ( BBA -- very good, Engineering ---- fair)
5. Brac (Arch. ----- excellent, BBA -- very good, Engineering ---- not bad)

All of these top 5 private universities are providing excellent facilities to its students and also their standard of teaching is equal to any of top public university whether it is DU or BUET. Rest of the other private universities are far behind from this 5 universities. So, if any one interested to study in private university then go for any of these above mentioned private universities but you have to be allowed through a real admission test unlike other private universities and also you need huge amount of money. LOL

But UODA is best for dumping girl's...................

I didn't want 2 do accounting or finance as I am very weak in Math related courses. Will I get a good local job with a healthy remuneration ? Is it hard to get a good job with HRM major ? IUB is the best for BBA , no doubt about that . I am a NSUian but I came from IUB by credit transfer. Truely speaking business school of IUB is so good and tough also for raising CGPA . Faculties are awesome of IUB . But now I am satisfied because NSU has a big name in the MKT.

Giving low tution fees and getting high CGPA makes student satisfaction and these are the students of AIUB and EWU .
But I u wanna get quality education then NSU and IUB is the best.

Istiaque bhai ur 3 frnds got chance in IUB thats why u think IUB admission system is poor but i hope u know 1 bangla proverb that is "akbar na parila dakho shotobar" may be they follow thes proverbs. And if the education quality gonna worst then nobody study to pay them highest tution fees...

man listen ... i got out from IUB with a GPA above 3 and studied in one of the best business schools in UK (Glamorgan) and completed my masters with Distinction...i am not saying anything about East west university as i never studied there ... for me .. i have seen lots of people who failed to get themselves into IUB but they qualified for East west university or Brac... if u really want to measure which one is doing good . have a look at universities having best quality journal publications, or researches, qualified faculties, labs and facilities, and finally and most importantly the way students are performing after wards. IUB graduates are studying in Cambridge, Oxford and Harvard and they are doing pretty good. How can you say that EWU's CGPA 3.20 is equal to IUB's 4.00. Have you even been to IUB? or studied there? Don't talk like stupids.

I appriciate MAMUN's ranking method. U showed the original position of private versities. U only missed input student quality and for this segment north south will be no 1. some one says that his three friends are admitted at iub who didn't get chance at EWU. May be he is true but I personally know some of my friends those came at iub from ewu and their CGPA was above 3.25 at ewu but now they are strugling to raise CGPA above 2.5 at IUB. And my most close friend is in probation period that means red signal.
That is way some multinatinal companies r only taking from IBA , NSU and IUB

I Just want to say that i have given admission test in all top ranked PVT universities. i know the real differents. NSU admission test is much more harder than any other pvt universities in BD. I stood 2nd in AIUB and Got Chance in IUB(3rd),Brac( with out giving the XM) and EWU. I didnot take any kind prep. for those universities. Here i want to say that i m a student of IBA. But the ques standard of NSU was taugh then IBA when i attented tha Xm at spring 07. My frnds r students of NSU BBA and I can surely say that they are not learning less then me. The quality of NSU BBA is execilent and they get good jobs all the time. i often talked to the senior std of IBA and they said we always have to fight with the NSUrs in the interviews for the job becoz they r good students and well spoken r presentation quality is some time better then IBA students and know modern tecqnics. I have seen that many of frnd who r good students r studying in NSU but i dont see any of my frnd who is a gud student is a student of other Pvt universities xcept EWU. this uni is doing well too but not as NSU. If u talk about faculty members of NSU nsu school of Business faculties are best in bd. They have certain quality Plz check NSU website if ur confused. If some one wants to be a assitant professor he must have Phd degree when he is a core faculty of NSU and they very stricked abt that. And also they must have MBA or masters from north ameriacn universities or equv. for lecture position. so they are maintaining the quality. The faculties of NSU is even better then our IBA. Its true that our student are best but the faculties r best in NSU. and many good students wants to study at NSU thats why its the best Pvt uni in bangladesh and one of the best uni in Bd. last i want to end with a info that GRAMEEN Bank has recenly published a circular for a FIN Analyst where is was clearly Written that " only Business Graduates from IBA or North South University Can apply". it shows their quality nd i think no nsu board member is in Grameen Bank. why i m writing about nsu becoz i really think they r the true comp of IBA in Bd

EWU is not the no. 1. Ahsanullah science and technology is the no. 1 university among the private universities in Bangladesh. Which is totally wrong ranking. Nobody will beleive this.
There are lots of websites are providing ranking in the word and they are corncern about north america, UK , australia, middle-east, Japan etc. But they are not well known about bangladeshi private university and that is why this kind of websites are providing wrong ranking .
